Big 12 vs Power 5, Group of 5, & FCS

Big 12 Teams: Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, & West Virginia

The Big 12 mysteriously has ten teams, that’s ok, the Big Ten has fourteen! This league is not broken into divisions and unlike other conferences, every team in the B-12 plays every other team. A true round robin and as Big 12 officials like to say, “we produce a true championship.”

Big 12 vs Power 5 Conferences/Independents

B-12 vs ACC: Baylor travels to Duke on 9/23/2017; Oklahoma State heads east, on 9/16/17, to take on Pitt, & West Virginia visits a neighboring state, Virginia, to battle Virginia Tech 9/2/17. The Big 12 plays the ACC 3 times in 2017, all on the road!

Big 12 vs Big Ten: Iowa State hosts Iowa on 9/9/17, Oklahoma visits the Shoe to take on Ohio State on 9/9/17, Texas entertains Maryland on 9/2/17. The Big 12 lines 3 times vs their neighbors to the north, the Big Ten.

Big 12 vs Independent P5’s: B-12 does not Play ND or BYU!

Big 12 vs the PAC 12: Texas heads west to tangle with USC 0n 9/16/17 and Texas Tech opens the stadium gates for Arizona State on 9/16/17. The B-12 has 2 regular season games against the P-12.

Big 12 vs the SEC: TCU heads east to challenge Arkansas on 9/9/17 & Kansas State  journeys to Tennessee to take on Vanderbilt on 9/16/17. The B-12 calls out the Mighty SEC on two occasions!

The Big 12 will play 10 games against Power Five opponents in 2017! Kansas does not face a P5 this coming season (2017) and Texas plays two ( SC & Maryland)

Big 12 vs Group of Five: 

Big 12 vs AAC (American Athletic Conference): Oklahoma @ home vs Tulane 9/16/17; Oklahoma State @ Home vs Tulsa on 9/2/17; TCU @ Home vs SMU on 10/7/17, Texas Tech @ Houston 9/23/17; & West Virginia @ Home vs East Carolina on 10/7/17! The Big 12 takes on the AAC five times in 2017, only once on the road!

Big 12 vs C-USA (Conference United States of America: Baylor takes on Texas San Antonio (UTSA) on 9/9/17; Kansas State welcomes UNC Charlotte on 9/23/17; & Oklahoma hosts Texas El Paso (UTEP) 9/2/17!  B-12 plays C-USA 3 times in 2017, all @ home!

B-12 vs Independent G5’s: The B-12 does not play Army or U-Mass (Massachusetts) in the 2017 season.

Big 12 vs MAC (Mid-American Conference): Kansas takes on Central Michigan at Home on 9/2/17 and travels to Ohio for 9/9/17 date; & Iowa State heads to Ohio to play Akron on the 9/16/17. B-12 has 3 games with the MAC  in 17′, two of them in Ohio!

Big 12 vs MWC (Mountain West Conference): Texas hosts San Jose State on 9/2/17. This is the only 2017 regular season game between the B-12 & the MWC!

Big 12 vs SBC (Sun Belt Conference): Oklahoma State travels to South Alabama! This is the only game between the B-12 & SBC in 17′

The B-12 challenges the Group of Five on 13 occasions in 2017, 9 of the 13 games will be played in B-12 arenas!

The Big 12 vs The Big South Conference: Baylor @ Home vs Liberty on 9/2/17

Big-12 vs the MVFC (Missouri Valley Football Conference): Iowa State @ Home vs Northern Iowa on 9/2/17

Big 12 vs OVC (Ohio Valley Conference): Kansas vs Northeast Missouri State 9/2/17

Big 12 vs SLC (Southland Conference): Kansas State @ Home vs Central Arkansas on 9/2/17

Big 12 vs SWAC (Southwestern Athletic Conference): TCU @ Home vs Jackson State on 9/2/17

B-12 vs Big Sky Conference: Texas Tech @ Home vs Eastern Washington on 9/2/17

B-12 vs MEAC (Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference): West Virginia @ Home vs Delaware State on 9/16/17

The Big 12 plays 30 Non-Conference games: 

10 Games vs P5 … 13 Games vs the Group of 5 … & 7 Games vs FCS Opponents …
