Big Ten Preview: Week 11

Wisconsin (6-3  / 3-2) vs Indiana (4-5  / 2-3)

Wisconsin has won in this game 7 straight times by an average score of 51-17, though the last time the Badgers were here they only narrowly escaped by a score of 31-28.  Last year Wisconsin annihilated the Hoosiers by a score of 59-7, and Indiana has dropped four straight home finales.

Illinois (2-7 / 0-5) vs Minnesota (5-4 / 1-4) 

Last year Illinois was handled by Minnesota easily, as they were defeated by a score of 27-7, and they managed just 18 yards in the entire first half of the game.  In 12 games against Minnesota, the Illini are just 3-9, including losing four of their last five at home to the Gophers.  The Illini have not won in Minneapolis since 2001.

Michigan (6-3 / 4-1) vs Northwestern (7-2 / 3-2)

Last year Michigan was down by 10 points at the break, but they went on to score 28 straight unanswered points to win by a score of 42-24.  Michigan has defeated the wildcats in 9 of their last 11 match-ups.

Iowa (4-5 / 2-3) vs Purdue (3-6 / 0-5)

Last year Iowa forced Purdue into some tough mistakes, as they had four turnovers and a blocked punt in a game that they never even trailed in (31-21 final).  The Hawkeyes have won 6 straight games at home vs Purdue.  Purdue is 6-18-1 vs Iowa all time, and just 1-11 in Iowa city.

Nebraska (7-2 / 4-1) vs Penn State (6-3 / 4-1)

Last year Nebraska opened up a 17-0 lead against Penn State, but ended up just barely hanging onto the win (17-14 final).  Defeating Penn State last year was the highest ranked for that the Cornhuskers had defeated since 1999!  All-time this series is tied up at 7-7.
