This is the first round of the Tournament … 20 teams were invited … 10 were automatic invites for winning their respective conference and 10 received at-large bids. Twelve of the teams get a first round bye and 8 of the teams play … this will get the number of teams in the second round to 16 … and the teams will eliminate one another (8-4-2) until they get to the Championship Game. Automatic Qualifiers do not get byes … after the teams are selected ….. they are seated by a panel of NCAA & FCS administrators! Enjoy the games!
