BYU 2-2 Already played this week … lost to Boise State on the Blue Field … 7-6! The Cougars defense played great and the offense was bad … real bad! I really like this team and the last two weeks are somewhat of a mystery? The Utah loss (24-21) was a seeming (lack of focus at the beginning of the game and missed opportunities at the end). This team is good … and that is with an offense that is simply not performing!
Army 0-2 The Black Knight travel to North Carolina to take on Wake Forest in Winston-Salem and given the history of the Demon Deacon … this could be a witch hunt! Army is 0-4 all time against Wake. Last meeting was in 07 … 21-10 loss for the Cadets!
Navy 0-2 the midshipmen are gearing up to take on the Army … no … not that Army .. the army that trains at VMI (Virginia Military Institute). Navy beats Army … apparently … any army … regularly! The Middies are 8-0 vs VMI (and have won 10 straight against Black & Blue Knights) … and should make it … 9 … by seventeen hundred … or 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time today!
