SEC: Week 10

Georgia (7-1 / 5-1) vs Ole Miss (5-3 / 2-2)

The last time that Ole Miss won in Athens was in 1996, which also happens to be their last win in the series, as they have lost 9 straight games to the Bulldogs.  The last time Ole Miss played Georgia on the road they were stomped by a score of 45-17, though the game was tied hat 17-17 heading into the fourth quarter.  However, last years game was fairly competitive, as Georgia won by a score of just 27-13.

LSU (7-1 / 3-1) vs Alabama (8-0 / 5-0)

Last year these two teams split their 2 games 1-1, but it was Alabama who won out the biggest game of all when they trounced LSU by a score of 21-0.  In the past 8 quarters of play, LSU has managed just 6 points against Alabama.  The last time these two teams met in Death Valley, there was five lead changes in the game, with LSU ultimately getting the victory by a score of 24-21.

Arkansas (3-5 / 2-3) vs Tulsa (7-1 / 5-0)

Arkansas has dominated this series, as they have won the last 17 games that they have played with Tulsa.  In their last meeting (2008), however, Arkansas barely managed to win, as it took a late TD return to edge Tulsa by a score of just 30-23.  Much like 2008, a season in which Tulsa won 10 games, Tulsa again finds themselves in the midst of a successful season.

Florida (6-1 / 7-1) vs Missouri (4-4 / 1-4)

Since the year 1990 Florida is a staggering 67-17 in the month of November.  This series has not taken place since the year of 1965, where Florida was defeated 20-18 in the Sugar Bowl.  Missouri is just 2-6 in their last 8 true conference road games.

Kentucky (1-8 / 0-6) vs Vanderbilt (4-4 / 2-3)

Vandy is just 2-6 since the year 1996 in Lexington which includes a 38-20 loss the last time that they met Kentucky on the road.  The Commodores are just 3-12 in their last 15 games coming off of a win.  It is perhaps worth noting that last week Vandy did win in their game against Massachusetts.

Mississippi State (7-1 / 3-1) vs Texas A&M (6-2 / 3-2)

MSU is 3-2 vs A&M, but they have not played recently.  The last time these two teams met was in the 2000 Independence Bowl, where the Bulldogs narrowly edged out A&M by a score of 43-41. However, A&M coach Kevin Sumlin went a staggering 1-11 vs MSU during his time at Houston as head football coach, with his only win coming in 2009 by a score of 31-24.

Tennessee (3-5 / 0-5) vs Troy (4-4  / 3-3)

These two teams have never before play one another.  Tennesse has only been defeated by one non automatic qualifier all time (7-1), with their only loss coming against North Texas in 1975.  In the month of November the Volunteers have won 11 of their last 14 games.  On the other hand, Troy has lost 12 straight non-conference away games, and they are just 2-15 all time vs SEC opponents.
