Sully’s CFP: Six Pack of Winners; Week Six

Washington @ Stanford -7: Both teams come into the game unbeaten! Washington at 4-0, with impressive wins over Boise State, 38-6 & Arizona, 31-13 @ home; the Cougars also beat Illinois, 34-24, in Chicago @ Soldiers Field & an FCS team, Idaho State, 56-0, again, at home! Stanford  is also 4-0, having 2 wins over PAC 12 Teams, Arizona State, 42-28 & Washington State, 55-17 and solid wins against San Jose State, 34-13 & @ Army, 34-20. Washington did win last year’s game at Huskie Stadium, 17-13, however, that was their only win in the last five meetings. Sully CFP says: take Stanford at home and give the 7 points to the Huskies.

Clemson -13 @ Syracuse: Clemson heads to Syracuse with a perfect 4-0 record, among these wins is an impressive victory over SEC powerhouse, Georgia, 38-35.  Meanwhile Syracuse is 2-2 on the season, losing to two Big Ten teams, PSU, 23-17 & N-Western, 48-27. While the Orange have won 2 in a row neither of these wins is against a quality opponent,  Wagner, 54-0 & Tulane 52-17. The Tigers have to much speed and in too many places for the orange to slow down this offense. Sully CFP says: Give Syracuse the 13 @ home and  ride that Tiger!

TCU @ Oklahoma (Over 46.5): A 4-0 Oklahoma welcomes a 2-2 TCU to Norman. The Sooners are coming off a whipping of the Irish in South Bend, 35-21, while TCU hammered in-state rival SMU, 48-17. These offenses are getting on track and the 46.5 is simply not enough…. Sully CFP Says: Take the over to the bank!

G-Tech @ Miami -4.5: The Hurricanes head into their home game with a perfect 4-0 slate, while the Yellow Jackets buzz into Miami @ 3-1. The Ramblin Wreck’s first loss of the season came last weekend at home, to Virginia Tech, 17-10. Miami’s win over Florida, 21-15, is a clear indicator that Al Golden has his team rock’en & roll’en in 2013. The Canes know a win this week at home sets the stage (if both teams play up to their respective rosters abilities) for a November 9 showdown, with Virginia Tech, in Miami, to determine the Coastal Division Winner. Sully’s CFP Says: Take the Canes and give GT the 4.5 points!

LSU -9.5 @ Mississippi State: LSU has beaten MSST the last five times they have played and covered the 9.5 point spread in four of these five wins. LSU comes into the game off an emotional loss to Georgia, 44-41, in Athens last week end. In fact, that loss means little to nothing, if they win out in the division and beat Florida on October 12, they will be in the SEC championship game come the first Saturday in December. Their quest to win the SEC West begins in Starkville this week end. The Bulldogs will get the Tigers A game… Sully CFP Says: Take the Tigers and give the Bulldogs the 9.5 … LSU Rolls>>>

UCLA -5.5 @ Utah: UCLA’s road performance @ Nebraska clearly demonstrated that they can be down in a hostile environment and battle their way back to victory. Down 21-3 in Lincoln, the Bruins scored an amazing 38 unanswered points on their way to a 41 to 21 win! They enter Utah’s Rice-Eccles Stadium with a 3-0 record and are coming off a bye week to enhance their game preparation in time for the Utes. Meanwhile, Utah is 3-1 having won Utah bragging rights, beating both in State rivals, BYU 20-13 & Utah State, 30-26… & spanking Weber State, 70-7! The Utes sole loss was to Oregon State, at home, 51-48 in OT! Sully’s CFP Says: Take the Bruins and give the Utes the 5.5

Sully’s CFP is currently 15-15 against the spread
